Second in class - Sept. 21, 2003 British Car Day at Bronte Park, Oakville

I have just finished restoring my '38 TA. Purchased it in 1971 (see picture -- son is now 35) and have been at it off and on for 32 years (record for longest restoration???). I have been fortunate for the past 20+ years to have been within striking distance (couple of miles) of Bob Grunau and I want to publicly acknowledge the great help that he's been during this restoration (advice, parts, chastizing when appropriate, words of encouragement again when appropriate, etc.). If you've had the occassion to buy parts or cars from Bob or have sought his advice than you'll know what I mean!!
